I’m so pleased to be hosting Demo Factor this year! It seems like yesterday I submitted my own demo…and subsequently feeling like I was going to vomit from nerves. It could be a full circle moment, as I have no doubt I’ll be feeling a similar way on that Salford stage in April.ÂÂDemo Factor is amazing for multiple reasons. You get exposure to radio big wigs. You learn how to create a perfect demo. But maybe most of all, you feel inspired by your fellow students who are just as passionate about radio as you (whether you submitted a demo or not). To be a part of that this year is an honour.ÂÂThe year I attended SRACon, I watched someone get their own national radio show thanks to Demo Factor. Maybe we’ll see the same this year?
