Terms and Conditions

Definition

  • The Demo Factor organisers (henceforth referred to as ‘the organisers’) includes, but is not limited to the Student Radio Association, the Demo Factor judges and any parties designated by the organisers to assist in the running of the event.

  • ‘The event’ shall refer to the nighttime entertainment, entitled ‘Demo Factor’ at the National Student Radio Conference, or any associated event run by the organisers under the Demo Factor banner.

  • ‘Your demo’ shall refer to any audio, uploaded by you, through this website.

  • The organisers reserve the right to change the terms and conditions at any time without notice.

Submission and Feedback

  • The organisers will not be held responsible for the failure to play or downloading of files submitted.

  • The organisers withhold the right to remove any entries submitted at for any reason they see fit at their sole discretion.

  • Submission of your demo does not guarantee that it will played at any event, or that any feedback shall be given.

  • Feedback on your demo will not be published online, except where the judges are quoted from comments made during the event.

Use of demos/data

  • Submission of your demo, unless permission is otherwise withdrawn, allows the organisers, to play your demo either in full or in part at the event

  • Unless permission is otherwise withdrawn, submission of a demo allows your entry to be distributed amongst the organisers and any relevant parties.

  • Submission of your demo, unless permission is otherwise withdrawn, allows the organisers to post online (to the Student Radio Association or Demo Factor website, or their affiliated channels) your demo, either in whole or in part, where used as positive examples only.

  • Your personal details will not be passed on to any third parties, other than the organisers, without your prior consent.
